Your Club Needs Your Support with Developments planned
The club can now boast to have one of the best facilities and sail boats available to members on the North Wales coast, our membership has risen dramatically in the last five years and with the efforts of all can move to the next level and attract a national sailing event.
We now have an action plan for the club to gain recognition of its achievements, especially the youth and adult sailing programme to gain Welsh Yachting Association dragon club status. This status will be of great value to the club, not least when applying for future sports development funding but also recognizing the quality of the facilities, equipment and the coaching.
Member’s desires will soon be fulfilled, for the club to have a first floor balcony deck, extending the first floor area into the sunshine. Imagine sunning yourself outside on this elevated area on a warm sunny day, never minding enjoying the camaraderie of watching race starts or relaxing with a drink after a hard day on the water.
Your balcony project is off to a flying start as your committee and treasurer have set up a ring fenced account, which already stands at £3800. We need to raise around another £3K to cover construction; the outline design and full planning is now complete thanks to Jonathan Bailey.
If you want to help out and assist in any way you can especially when raising funds for the new balcony please contact me or any committee member to offer your support and assistance.
You may be interested in sponsoring part of t he PSC balcony construction and have your individual or company name on a sponsors plaque to recognize your contribution. You can make an additional payment contribution when renewing your 2008 membership.
On behalf of your committee, your support with all club activities is very much appreciated, lets make it happen in 2008 “‘Seas’ the day”!!
