Father and Son do it again. Last year’s winners Glenn Williams and son Ieuan (left pic) took the honours in the Clubs’ annual Open “Tally Race” on Sunday June 6th 2013. Coming a close second were visitors from Port Dinorwic Sailing Club Julienne Fellows and Jenny Williamson (right pic).
In excellent winds and sunny conditions with choppy seas, the race took part around an extended course off Penmaenmawr which required the crews to leave their crafts and run through the surf to collect a “Tally” from marshals on the beach at DEGANWY BEACH. The event saw nine crafts enter with sailors from different areas of North Wales.
