All Wales Boat Show 2017


The All Wales Boat Show 2017 takes place in  Conwy Quays Marina in the stunning Castle Town of Conwy. It will be the third time this event will have taken place at Conwy Quays Marina.

The show, now in its fifth year,is a celebratory festival of all water-based activities and is unique to the region.

Discover a huge range of exhibitors, show events and activities where you can have a go too. It’s a must-visit for any boat owner, watersport-lovers or family looking for a great day out.

The All Wales Boat Show 2017 is a three-day extravaganza, taking place from Friday 9 June to Sunday 11 June.

AGM Sunday 26th February 2017

2017 kicks off with a call out to all members to come down to the AGM

New date: Sunday 26th February 2017 Time: 10.00am

We open with coffee and cakes at 10am for nice catch up chat followed by the AGM opening statement.

We have a draft AGM agenda, and call for nominations (ask Craig to email you one).

We’ll have Tea, Coffee, Cakes & Warm Scones, to tempt you out of bed if it’s a cold wet morning.

We look forward to seeing as many members as possible.

The 54th Anniversary Annual Dinner and Prize Giving Awards Ceremony at Conwy Golf Club, Conwy. 3rd December 2016. Following the dinner, the Commodore Gerry Frobisher MBE and the Clubs’ Lady Captain Alice Morris presented the Trophies won by the Club Members during the 2016 sailing season.

Junior Awards:

The Junior Trophies were presented by the Commodore:-

Junior Gold Cup (over five Races) – Arty Moss

Mack-Williams Trophy for most improved Junior went to James Blair. Nine year old James crewed for Tony Tansley in the Puffin race and the pair coped with very choppy and challenging seas to finish a creditable 3rd.

The Special Award Endeavour Trophy – Dai Moss. Dai came 2nd in the Gold Cup, 3rd in the Phil Davies Cup and 6th in the Club Series Challenge.

The Butterworth Cup for perseverance to Daniel Blair. Daniel took part in the Tally Race and was 200 yards from the finish and a placing when he capsized and broke his mast. He always tries his best in all his races.

Quay Marinas Conwy River Festival – Team Award
Glenn Williams gave a short report of the Clubs’ Junior Team who took part in the Conwy River Festival racing events. George Moss, Dylan Williams, Ieuan Williams, Sean and ncbv. The Award was presented by Glenn and the Commodore.

The Commodore gave acknowledgements and thanks to all the members of the Club for their commitment and service to the Club during the season. And presented special Awards.

The Merit Mug to Craig Petch for his service as the Clubs’ new Secretary.

A special mention and gift was made to Brian Wilcock for his work on our Web Site and annual Club Handbook, as well as thanks to Penmaenmawr Town Council for their support with the annual Community Bonfire and Firework Displays.

The Club Commodore Gerry Frobisher thanked and presented small gifts, to the Ladies of the Club Liz, Helen Blair, Hillary Moss, Mandy Williams, Carol Pye, Sue Petch and Pam for all their hard work and commitment to the Club throughout the season.

5th November Fireworks

PSC are pleased to announce the return of the Bonfire Fireworks Spectacular.

The Tide is right for the actual 5th of November, a perfect time for a fantastic show.
