A Successful 2019 Open Day

The Commodore’s Press Report.

Penmaenmawr Sailing Club held their annual Open Day on Saturday the 6th July. The club opened its door to non-members and thrill seekers of all ages to experience the thrill of sailing.

Commodore, Gerry Frobisher, said “We enjoyed a full day of sailing with water based fun for all the family. Club members provided supervised sailing and refreshments throughout the day. Members and non-members some from as far as Penygroes and Warrington took part or just watched the activities during the day with volunteers helping to launch and land the various craft. The warm and breezy weather was a bonus and the sea conditions really made the day”.

The sailing club launched eight different craft including Picos, a Wayfarer and a catamaran as well as offering patrol boat rides.
